The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.

He or she will have a strong analytical background and be able to think creatively to solve problems. He or she will also have excellent communication and presentation skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of potential investments, including but not limited to reviewing financial statements, conducting market research, and building detailed financial models
  • Develop investment recommendations and present findings to the investment committee
  • Monitor portfolio companies’ post-investment and provide value-add support to help them achieve their business goals
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to build relationships with deal sources and management teams of potential investments
  • Support the fundraising process by preparing marketing materials and participating in investor meetings
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industries, trends, and key players
  • Help lead due diligence efforts on new investment opportunities, including coordinating with third-party service providers
  • Manage the data room and virtual data room for each transaction
  • Prepare internal memos summarizing key findings from due diligence
  • Assist with the negotiation and documentation of transactions
  • Manage ongoing reporting requirements for portfolio companies
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or another relevant role
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or another relevant role
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and other presentation software
  • Experience leading and managing projects

Average Annual Salary: £90k + Bonus
Top 10% Annual Salary: £160k + Bonus
